The All-Star SUPERband is a sixteen piece Jazz Big Band featuring many of Milwaukee's finest Jazz musicians. The group plays original music, as well as covers influenced by Count Basie, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton, Thad Jones, Charlie Parker, Buddy Rich, Dizzy Gillespie and Toshiko Akiyoshi.
The band plays at
Kiko's Lounge at Frank Monreal's El
Matador every Thursday night
at 6 pm.
The SUPERband collects for
Easter Seals each performance. |
