Jason
Gillette began his teaching career in 1996 at
Brookfield Central High School. He received his degree from
UW-Eau Claire in Music Education. During his 8 year tenure as
band director the band has grown tremendously from 83 members in
1996 to over 200 members presently! He is listed in the
Publication "Who's Who in Education in America", receiving his
nomination from former band students! |

He currently directs the Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble,
Jazz Ensemble I & II, Marching Band, Pep Band, and is Pit
Director for the BCHS Fall
Musical. He enjoys giving a wide variety of musical clinics and workshops. In recent years he has done
workshops at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, Carroll
College, Cardinal Stritch University, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Eau
Claire, and Wisconsin Lutheran College. He is currently Director
of Jazz Studies at Cardinal Stritch University. |
In addition to performing with the ,
his resume includes performances with the Temptations,
Grammy-Award winning jazz vocalist - Kurt Elling, The Four Tops,
Martha Reeves, Three Dog Night and the Wisconsin Jazz Orchestra.
