Dale Elenich
Trumpet

Dale is originally from
Milwaukee. He has been playing with the since early 2001.
He studied at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee where he
concentrated on music performance, theory and composition. He
has also studied with
Adolf Herseth,
Vincent Cichowicz,
Scott Laskey,
Ronald Romm,
Arturo Sandoval and Wayne
Bergeron. |

Dale has played with several orchestras, jazz
bands, salsa bands, and polka bands throughout the southeastern
Wisconsin area. In addition, to various radio and
commercial work, he has performed in numerous Broadway shows and
done studio work with several groups. Dale can be heard on
several recordings including
Swing Nouveau's "Shakin'When
Stirred" and "More". He can also be heard with
Mr.
Lucky Swing Syndicate on "42 Guys in a Suit", "Holidayzed", and
"Wrong Way Charlie's Safari Adventure", as well as on
the sound track of the
motion picture "The Yes Men". He recently
completed a tour as Music Director with Carnival Cruise Line. |

influenced Dale's playing style locally are
Brett Murphey
(jazz lead trumpet),
Jeff
Pietrangelo
(jazz solo trumpet), and Tom
Schlueter
(classical trumpet). He has also been influenced by nationally known
musicians such as Luis Aquino
(salsa/merengue),
Freddy Hubbard
(jazz) and
Wynton
Marsalis (classical jazz).
